Touch of the Flower 30” x 20” Nails on wood panel

I did this as an experiment to play with the inverse of colors. I took a Beautiful and colorful flower, turned it black and white and surrounded it with the its own color. I would always see monochromatic pictures with a red rose and I thought it would be interesting to do the opposite. The color, its life was stripped away and smeared all around it. It has been used. This piece took a few days and contains about 5,640 nails.
